Orders & Shipment
Shipping costs, taxes and duties
Shipping costs throughout Australia are quoted on the invoice. We ship the bike with Toll Ipec in a sturdy well packed box, any damage is out of our hands and falls under the clients account.
Pick up in Melbourne is free.
Delivery and processing
Once the order has been placed it takes us up to two working days to prepare him for his journey and say goodbye. Orders ship Monday through Friday excluding Holidays.
Order status
As soon as we have waved your package goodbye we will email you a shipping confirmation notice. If it has been more than a few days since entering your order and you have not received shipping confirmation, please give us a call 0458858713
Assembly
Most Dutch Cargo Bikes need a little bit of assembling. It is preferred that a bike shop does this for you. An assembly guide will be emailed with your invoice.
Maintenance
Maintenance
To keep your bike smooth and happy make sure to take care of him on a regular basis. A manual will be provided to tell you the ins and outs of keeping your bike in great shape. No worries, it’s as easy as 1,2,3!
Personal adjustments
It is possible to adjust the seat and handlebar to the height and angle that fits your size and personal preferences.
Warranty & Returns
Return items
So sorry, but we can’t accept products for returns. We can help resale your bike after a few years when you are ready for a different concept bike.
Warranty
The Bakfiets/Azor/Onderwater bikes have the following factory warranty point
- 10 years on material and/or construction faults on the frame and front fork
- 1 year on the paint for corrosion from inside out
- 1 year on other parts after established material and/or construction faults
- excluded from warranty are tires and pedals
Warranty only applies provided you have registered your Dutch Cargo Bike within 2 weeks from the date of purchase.
The right for warrantee is cancelled when
- There are construction adjustments made to the bike
- Original parts have been removed or replaced
- There hasn’t been enough maintenance
- The bikes isn’t used in the right way
- The bike isn’t in possession of the first owner
- It related to normal wear and tear
Larry vs Harry (Bullitt) offers the following warranty;
- 2 years warranty on frame and components with exceptions to wear-and-tear parts as tires, tubes and chain.
- This warranty only applies to manufacturing, and material errors. Damages from misuse, violence, and wear-and-tear is not covered.
- If faults is discovered, the bike must be reported.
- The warranty is only valid for the original buyer.
- The components, colour of the components, graphic design, etc, on the photos on the website can vary from the existing models
