Azor trains, coaches and educates their staff so that disadvantage people have an honest chance to work. Azor Bikes is the producer of the “Bakfiets” Dutch Cargo Bikes in the Netherlands. They produce a full range of Dutch style bikes including tandem bikes. Their factory is located in the north in a little quiet town called Hoogeveen. Jan Rijkeboer, Managing Director and his team have one goal and that is quality. Azor Bikes manufactures the “Bakfiets” Cargo Bike since it’s invention in the mid 90?s. Bakfiets is well known in the Netherlands (see history on this website). Azor’s expertise in building a high qualilty cargo bike has resulted in a market leader position without much marketing effort. They utilise the latest technology, yet craftmanship remains the primary focus. As Jan says: “The quality & reputation of our Bakfiets Cargo Bikes is our marketing and it’s working well for us”. Azor Bikes exports to various other European countries as well as to the USA.
